Is your camera level?

Frame! The client must fit in the overlay:

• Client is Level and STRAIGHT on to the camera.
• Use the overlays.
• Center the client and zoom before moving the client – do not exceed 118% zoom.
• No body “amputations” such as cutting off the opposite nipple.
• No body parts covered with clothing, including ears.
• Turn off overlay, “O” to check position and focus.
• Tilt the camera UP for Inferior breast images.

Focus.  Out-of-focus images are not an option:

• Auto Focus only when the distance changes.
• Use Fine Focus (keyboard) to sharpen the image.
• Alternately, use the arrows on the keyboard for fine focus (not on the A515).
• Use lace, OR a feather if focus is difficult.
• Check the edges of the body for sharp focus (fat purple line)
• Use Reverse grayscale to see if breast patterns are in focus.

Color.  The Color must be balanced!

Visual only, does not change the actual temperature.

• Bring out the PATTERNS.
• Balance Colors Blue/Red.
• Same Temperature range for the WHOLE Region. CRTL R Regions.
• Islands of red in a sea of green!
